JavaScript Job: FRONTEND DEVELOPER ANGULAR (m-f-d)

With our publishing platform Purple, we help magazine and news publishers succeed – by combining rock-solid engineering, creative uses of AI and data with proven best-of-breed solutions. Our offering includes a headless CMS based on Gutenberg, a highly scalable delivery infrastructure based on Kafka and Kubernetes, a modular state-of-the-art news app and website framework, and a suite of AI-powered newsroom automation and audience development tools.

Our customers range from medium-sized publishers to internationally publishing groups - from Australia to the Zurich Oberland. Close contact with our customers and users allows us to develop our product with our users at the center. We are currently experiencing a fascinating growth and internationalization phase. What is still missing is you!  A talented frontend developer who contributes with know-how, passion and creativity to further develop Purple as the AI-powered publishing plattform.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• Your passion is programming and you follow technological trends
• You are careful, reliable, pragmatic and find solutions that are the best for our customers and users without incurring technical debts
• You are self-organized and learn new things quickly
• You know what makes consumer facing products succeed and like to work on something millions of people love to use daily
• You enjoy working in a team and have a great interest in sharing your skills and knowledge at eye level
• You thrive in a truly agile environment, contribute to our continuous improvement processes, like to work on outcomes and towards shared, measurable goals
• You understand the value of code reviews, automated testing, continuous integration and delivery

TECH SKILLS

• 3+ years experience with Javascript/Typescript and HTML/CSS
• 3+ years experience with Angular (v10+)

That would be a plus:

• Experience with news websites
• Node.js
• Kubernetes or Docker
• Expert in CSS and SCSS
